SHIPPING & DELIVERY
1. GENERAL SHIPPING INFORMATION
All orders are prepared and shipped within 24 to 48 business hours (excluding weekends and public holidays).
During periods of high demand, this timeframe may be extended up to 72 business hours.
Bedside-lamp.com delivers to the following areas: Europe, United Kingdom, Canada, and French Overseas Territories (DOM-TOM).
A confirmation email is sent once the order is validated, followed by a second email containing shipping details and the tracking number.
2. DELIVERY TIMES
Estimated delivery times are as follows:
- United Kingdom and Europe: 8 to 12 business days
- International (Canada, DOM-TOM): 10 to 15 business days
These delivery times are indicative and may vary depending on:
- the carrier
- the destination
- logistical conditions
- periods of high demand
Bedside-lamp.com cannot be held responsible for delays caused by carriers or exceptional circumstances (such as strikes, weather conditions, or customs procedures).
3. SHIPPING METHODS
Deliveries are made via partner carriers, including Colissimo or equivalent providers.
Depending on the nature of the products, their availability, or the shipping location, an order may be delivered in multiple packages at no additional cost to the customer.
Bedside-lamp.com reserves the right to choose the most appropriate shipping method to ensure timely delivery.
4. SHIPPING COSTS
Shipping is free for all orders, unless otherwise clearly indicated during the checkout process prior to payment.
Applicable shipping costs (if any) are transparently displayed before the order confirmation.
Bedside-lamp.com reserves the right to change shipping conditions at any time. However, no changes apply to an order that has already been confirmed and paid for.
5. TRANSFER OF RISK
Risk transfers to the customer or their designated recipient at the moment the parcel is delivered to the address provided.
The customer must inspect the package upon delivery.
In case of any issues (damaged, opened, missing, or deteriorated products), the customer must:

make precise notes with the carrier at the time of delivery

then contact customer service within 48 hours providing all relevant evidence (photos, detailed description)
Failure to provide timely notification may result in the delivery being considered compliant.
This clause does not affect statutory legal guarantees.
6. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
The customer has 14 calendar days from receipt of the product to exercise their right of withdrawal, without providing any reason.
To exercise this right, the customer must notify their decision by email to:

Following notification, the customer has an additional 14 days to return the product.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except in cases of defective or non-compliant products.
All returned products must comply with the conditions outlined in Article 7.
7. RETURN CONDITIONS
To be eligible for a return:

The product must be brand new, unused, and uninstalled

It must be returned in its original, complete, and undamaged packaging

All accessories, manuals, and components must be included
Any use, installation, damage, or missing components may result in:

the return being refused, or
-
a reduction of the refund proportional to the product’s depreciation
Returns must receive prior written authorisation from customer service.
Any return without prior authorisation may be refused and returned at the customer’s expense.
The customer bears the risk of return shipping. It is recommended to use a tracked service.
8. DEFECTIVE OR NON-CONFORMING PRODUCTS
If a product is defective or does not conform to the order, the customer must contact customer service within a reasonable period and provide:

After evaluation, Bedside-lamp.com will propose an appropriate solution under legal obligations, which may include:

No returns will be accepted without prior authorisation.
These provisions do not affect statutory guarantees of conformity or hidden defects.
9. REFUNDS
After receiving and inspecting returned items, Bedside-lamp.com will inform the customer whether the refund is accepted or declined.

Refunds are processed exclusively via the original payment method, unless the customer expressly requests an alternative.

Refunds cover only the amount actually paid, including any discounts applied at purchase.

Original shipping costs are refunded only if the return is due to an error by Bedside-lamp.com or a defective product.

The actual receipt of funds depends on the customer’s banking institution and is beyond the control of Bedside-lamp.com.
Special Cases

If the returned product does not comply with return conditions (used, incomplete, damaged), Bedside-lamp.com reserves the right to:

refuse the refund, or

apply a proportional deduction for depreciation

No refund is processed without actual receipt of the returned product (unless an exception is agreed).
10. CASES OF REFUSAL OR PARTIAL REFUND
Bedside-lamp.com reserves the right to refuse or adjust a refund in cases of:

returned product incomplete, used, damaged, or unfit for resale

non-compliance with the return procedure

returns outside statutory deadlines or without prior notification

missing proof of purchase

damage resulting from misuse, incorrect installation, or negligence
Decisions are made after product inspection and communicated to the customer with justification.
11. ORDER CANCELLATION
Cancellation requests must be made within 24 hours of the order being placed.
After this timeframe, the order may have been processed or shipped and can no longer be cancelled.
12. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
According to applicable law, the following are not eligible for withdrawal:

personalised or made-to-order products

any sealed products that cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons (if applicable)
13. LIABILITY
Bedside-lamp.com shall not be held liable for indirect, immaterial, or consequential damages related to the use of products.
Liability is limited to the amount actually paid by the customer for the relevant order.
Nothing in this policy affects the consumer’s statutory rights, including applicable legal guarantees.
